Products, Projects and Designs

Now, let’s talk about some of the fantastic products and projects featured.

I’ve adapted many of the designs in the catalogues and made up some of my own.

Fable Friends

My class ladies so wanted to play with Fable Friends.  This is a rubber stamp set with our new Cling Mount.  Oh my! It is lovely and takes me back to my childhood and then that of our kids.

We have Peter Rabbit or the Easter Bunny, Mother Duck and her ducklings, and a very cute squirrel…it’s not too hard a stretch to pretend he’s one of our brushtail possums.  I have used the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, FREE as part of the SAB Painted Seasons Bundle (SAB $180) or FREE (SAB $90).

Mum would sing this Nursery Rhyme to me “Five little ducks went out to play………Mother Duck said ‘quack quack, quack quack, and only ….. little ducks came back!. The joy of a childhood remembered and our dear Mum still in our lives.

Butterfly Projects

There are two bundles in the Occasions Catalogue (OC) that feature butterflies.  They are Beauty Abounds Bundle (P13 OC) and Butterfly Gala (P35 OC).  Beauty Abounds features stamp-set/dies; Butterfly Gala features stamp-set/punch.

I featured Butterfly Gala Bundle with the co-ordinating SAB Botanical Butterfly DSP in our recent class.  We also used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits for “2 for 1” cards.  Each piece of DSP makes two card fronts!  I’ve shown examples below using both portrait layout and landscape layout.

This card layout is extremely versatile and I’m sure you can come up many more fabulous ideas.

Project Kits

Stampin’ Up! offer great project kits.  The kits are fabulous when used as is.  They are also exciting when teamed with other products.

I’ve used the Precious Parcel Card Kit (SAB) to make the kit note cards……. but then I wanted to play and adapt.  When my supplies of the project kit were depleted, I just added other supplies.  And yes, I have used the Rectangle Dies.  Can you also see that I’ve used the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder (SAB).   I love how our products work together and how we can just use our creativity or follow the ideas of others.  We all love sharing our ideas.

Rectangle Stitched Dies

The dies can be purchased separately or part of the Amazing Life Bundle (OC p.28); there are great sayings and graphics, that I have yet to explore……  But I can assure you the Rectangle Stitched Dies have been one of my favourite tools.  Just love them.  You’ll be able to see the examples throughout this newsletter.

Lasting Lily and Co-ordinating Lily Framelits

Here are some samples for you to enjoy.  This is a most versatile group of products; from bright and cheery to more thoughtful.  The phrases would suit many different occasions.

Class Projects

We’ve hopped in and explored Fable Friends, Floral Romance Suite paired with Wood Textures DSP, and our gorgeous Butterflies.

I have uploaded more designs to my Pinterest site and to my Facebook page.  Please feel free use these designs for your own springboard to your next creative project.
