What’s Cookin’ Bundle & In Good Taste DSP

What’s Cookin’ Bundle & In Good Taste DSP

What’s Cookin’ Bundle by Stampin’ Up! is perfect for crafting. There’s something about Lockdown to make me think of cooking and family! In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) provides the perfect tile backdrop for our card’s kitchen!

Our family, in different households, recently Zoomed into an Online cooking class. What a Treat for Lockdown…..thanks Donna Hay. Your colours and recipes are the inspiration for this card.

You can adjust the colour scheme to make the project feminine or masculine. Each sheet has photographic images of wood, tile, stone, and other elements

What’s Cookin’ in our Crafting Kitchen?

We are using What’s Cookin’ Bundle (AC p 34), paired with In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for our tile background and (Hostess) Pattern Party DSP for our black & white ‘tablecloth’.

As I created this design for my In Person and Online classes , there is no stamping on the kitchen implements, but you will notice the timber grain on the chopping board. The die does this!

All of the kitchen tools are die cut using Cooking Dies, included in the bundle. It’s a clean design, with just a few embellishments; Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Matte Black Dots and Playful Pets Trim. I have used the greeting from What’s Cookin’ Stamp Set. The design would work well for a variety of occasions; Father’s Day, Birthday, Thinking of You, Get Well etc.

Here is the inside of the card.

I love those stamps. They stamped cleanly and it was easy to mask the bowl to make the spoon look like it was in the mixing bowl! I stamped and then die cut the salt and pepper grinders. The sentiment seemed perfect to send a spoonful of love to our interstate family.
