l hope you are well and enjoying the start a new season, with the tantalising hints of Spring. We’ve been doing some chores; some painting, reorganising & decluttering! That’s definitely a work in progress! How have you been?
Our garden is coming out of Winter; new growth, new shoots and early flowering.
We’ve cleaned up and re-fenced after the storm. Luckily, some of our nurseries have a ‘call and collect’ service, so we can start to replant even during lockdown. And, there are always weeds to keep us out of mischief!
Crafting has been my “go-to” when the weather is wet & windy or when I need some quiet time. I’ll share some of these creations with you, including links and directions.

Whimsical Trees Bundle and Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Paper by Stampin’ Up! give a totally different look to our more traditional Christmas trees and colours. In Whimsy & Wonder Paper we have pinks, blues and soft greens, highlighted with iridescent foil; they are indeed whimsical, as are the magical Christmas trees.

Words of Cheer Bundle with Whimsy & Wonder Paper
Words of Cheer Bundle by Stampin’ Up! is a great ‘go-to’ bundle for Christmas, birthdays or other celebrations. I have concentrated on a Christmas theme in this design and have paired it with foil accented Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP). It is stunning. Both of these items are in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalogue. The pretty scalloped panel uses Basic Borders Dies from the Annual Catalogue.

In Colors- 3D Trinket Box & Gift Card
My crafting friends asked me to share this project. Several knew that they would pop chocolates and or small trinkets in the box to give to a friend; others thought it would be perfect as a Welcome Baby gift, complete with a small baby toy or pair of booties. I’m so thrilled with the baby options, as we have many new babies to welcome into the world.
I adapted designs in two different colourways, each for a general theme or to welcome a new baby.
The In Colors used are Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent. The bundles used are All for Baby, Wild Cats, and Pansy Patch. The Designer Series papers are Pansy Petals and In the Wild.
