In the Wild Suite, Wild Cats Bundle by Stampin’ Up!

In the Wild Suite, Wild Cats Bundle by Stampin’ Up!

Lockdown #4 in Melbourne. Can’t go to a zoo but we can craft, and share some designs using In the Wild Suite incorporating Wild Cats Bundle by Stampin’ Up! Sigh! Dreaming of Melbourne, Werribee & Dubbo Open Plains Zoos.

Showcasing In the Wild Suite: Wild Cats Bundle, Animal Print Embossing Folder & In the Wild Designer Series Paper.

The “wild” In the Wild Suite, includes a Wild Cats Stamp Set and Big Cats Dies bundled as Wild Cats Bundle, In the Wild 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and Animal Prints Embossing Folder.

Here are the links: Wild Cats Bundle, Animal Print Embossing Folder, In the Wild DSP.

Wild Cats Bundle, In the Wild DSP & Animal Print Embossing Folder

This was a fun card to make and designed with In the Wild Designer Series Paper colours as the reference. Colours used are Crushed Curry, Evening Evergreen, Merry Merlot and Soft Succulent. I die-cut and fussy cut some of the ‘Cats’ images from the striking In the Wild DSP. Other of the ‘cats’ images can be cut with the dies.

Here is the products list in my 24/7 Online Store or click on the card above.

CASE-ing the Catty.

Just in case you haven’t heard the term before, to CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy and Selectively Edit.

Both cards are changed a little from the catalogue image and include stamped images of the cats.

You might notice that I’ve switched the stripes, dots and faces on the stamped cats. It’s very clever designing because they are interchangeable on the cats regardless of whether the cat is sitting or standing. Clever! Stampin’ Up!

The card at the top of the photo uses different colours and just one design of DSP behind the stamped images. Colours used are Cinnamon Cider, Sahara Sand, Memento Black.

The card at the bottom of the combo photo is very similar to the card in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue picture.

Wild Cats Bundle Design using Animal Print Embossing Folder, Circles and Stripes.

Challenge; to create a card using circle(s) and stripes.

Stripes of In the Wild Designer Series Paper are ‘woven’ to create the jungle background while a Layering Circle of embossed Crushed Curry cardstock frames the die-cut Wild Cat. We used Animal Print Embossing Folder to emboss Crushed Curry Cardstock.

Using Dies to Frame Images

Once again, we are using In the Wild Suite; Wild Cats Bundle, In the Wild DSP and Animal Prints Embossing Folder.

The ‘tags’ are die cut in Crushed Curry using Tailor Made Tags Dies.

The two cards use ‘picture’ frames die-cut using Picture This Dies.
